Friend of the studio, Haitian/Brooklyn artist Engels, is holding a benefit art sale/auction to raise funds for his journey to Italy for the Florence Biennale. The event is Tuesday, October 18th, at Highland Park, in Murray Hill, Manhattan ( 206 East 34th Street). Wine & cheese reception from 6–7pm, the auction begins at 9pm.
